[Music] so [Music] what's up everybody welcome to today's video today we're going to be checking out an abandoned resort that i did some time ago well actually more of a ski lodge but i never was able to give out the history of it so this is what this intro is for the place opened up in 1962 and it was a very prime location being in such close proximity of new york city so people were able to just lay back not travel that far away and get up in the mountains and enjoy nature it was open throughout the golden years of resorts and ski lodging throughout the 60s 70s and 80s but balance a huge decline in the coming in the next coming decade and eventually it was sold in 2007 to a separate group that bought it trying to make a profit of what was left and it didn't work uh eight years later it closed down for good because of lack of snowfall on the mountain and uh that was it it was a wrap so
