The compress's unique non-freezable, non-toxic, gel remains pliable and not hard even at low freezing temperatures. The design of the compress allows the gel to be distributed evenly over the treatment area for better cold therapy treatment. The gel and the material used for the compress are safe and non-toxic, making the compress safe for all applications. Microwave Heating Instructions: Microwaving the compress can be done, but be sure to follow the manufacturer instructions as overheating the compress can damage your compress and voids the manufacturer warranty. 1. Wrap the compress in a towel and place inside the microwave. 2. Microwave for no more than 1 minute. 3. Remove compress from microwave and check the temperature carefully.
