now I don't class myself as an audiophile I'm not super fussy about music and and sort of all year stuff I am a bit but not super fussy no I'm not up there with people who were you know I wouldn't have spent just 369 pounds on a lamb boo you know I'd be spending thousands on an amp if if I were a true audiophile but anyway it turns out that this Marantz pm6 0:06 SE so the UK edition is gonna have to go back after all I'm not sure if it's faulty or if it's just a failing of the amp itself my partner the noticed it actually she was sort of sat down by the speaker and it turns out that the digital input coaxial and both had optical I've tried two optical sources and I've tried the optical source from my sound card into another Toslink receiver so another optical receiver has digital noise on it it has a continuous noise in the background it's only clearly quiet and if you had music on you
