okay so to start to fix the broken door handle we're gonna remove these four t20 torx so we're just going to pull this out here we can remove the license plate light harness and then right behind it here we have the actual pull cord for the handle so we're going to literally just pop it straight out so this ball goes down into this piece and this grooved section here will go into here let that go upwards then the next piece is this guy here and to remove this we're just going to lay this down forwards we're going to get the ear out past the body of the vehicle it's a little bit difficult to do one-handed i'm just going to pull it down off the rod here as you can see there we go so now we have the whole unit out so now we can fix the back side here this piece so this is why the door handle stops working typically this screw starts to become loose this creates play and this will now pop a
