my name is Andrew Morris I'm a retired engineer and this is my my gadget it's a wireless remote volume control at the receiver so they can volume control is connected between some signal source in this case a computer could be an iPod or mp3 player and an amplified speaker system this is the transmitter with the lettering added to it basically it's muted right now so you press either button on unmuted okay pressing press the UP button raises the volume level press the down button lowers uh volume level press up then down mutes it and again pressing either button unmute sit this also has a default volume level but you select by hitting is all and then on this is useful for oh this sets a reference level sets a reference level for adjusting the volume control of other volume controls in the system okay and but it's also useful if you've turned the volume up real loud to hear another room
