In a minute, I'm going to hook up this wireless HTMI transmitter to one of our surveillance DVRs to show you how I can wirelessly transmit the HTMI output of this DVR back to the high definition TV in my office. But before I do that, I just want to explain a little bit about how it works. On this diagram the orange line on the left represents the HTMI cable that connects the HTMI output of the DVR to the input on the wireless HTMI transmitter. The orange line on the right represents the HTMI connection between the wireless receiver and the HDMI input on the display monitor. The green lines with circles on the end represent the IR remote control transmitter and receiver. These are included with the kit but are optional to use.
