Mini USB for Canon Legria / Vixia HF R11

here I have a canon model our 600 video camera today we're going to modify the charging adapter so that this can be charged with the USB port that way I can use a battery pack such as this anchor to keep the camera running all day long here is a charger that the camera came with as you can see it has a proprietary plug and the camera itself is marked DC in 5.3 volts so what we're going to do is cut this cable off the charger and then take this USB cable and cut it off here and splice the two together to convert this charging cable to USB okay we're gonna cut the cables I'm gonna strip off the outer insulation on this wire again squaring lightly so I don't cut the insulation off the wires on the inside because these wires are small and the insulation is thin I'm gonna I'm gonna do the same thing to these I'm just gonna roll this gently on my knife just to square it then I can pick off th
