today I'm going to show you how to install a plugged in style transformer from your existing wired in transformer for your ring video doorbell Pro mainly you do this if you want to upgrade to 24 volts and your present transformer is only pushing out 16 volts and your system is not working correctly so anyways this is just a standard 24 volt plug in transformer plug it in and so let's begin so first thing I'm gonna do is unhook the power so you can see well powers not off to the doorbell yet but it will go off in just a minute the ring will go dark anyway so now I know it's unplugged or the breakers turned off and I am going to just unscrew these two terminals they have both wires on it and I am going to wire it into this transformer and the light just went off the doorbell so anyways this it doesn't matter which one I'm putting it on this is AC and it's low voltage it's gonna be 24 volt
