Minolta 28-85 mm 3.5-4.5 MD Zoom Lens

[Music] welcome back to another review i thought i'd look today at some vintage lenses in this case it's the minolta 28 to 85 millimeter this is one of the original lenses that minolta released back in the mid 80s this is one of the more expensive lenses that they had in the day although it wasn't as pricey as the 28 to 135 millimeter i have put the apertures on screen for you as far as the fit and finish in the hand this is a very solid lens it is pretty much metal on all of the casing on the outside and on the internal barrel we do have an unusual macro mode though it's only in the 28 millimeter setting you have to push that button up and once it's in there you don't actually have any auto focus on the lens it's a bit unusual for most lenses they beat the telephoto end but we will take a look at a few samples later on one thing you do notice with this lens is pretty heavy for the foca
