welcome back to another video i thought i'd have a look at some older lenses again and this time it's the minolta 35 to 70 millimeter f4 we'll dive right into it the specs are on the screen of the lens so you don't have to go anywhere else to find them this has a hybrid aspherical lens element which means plastic and glass molded together got the typical purple minolta lens coating and the design and style is very similar to the other lenses of this era remember these are the original autofocus lenses so it's released way back in 1985. another curious feature on this lens is the macro switch and once you've enabled that it locks you in at the telephoto end and you can adjust it backwards and forwards to focus or indeed just move in and out but that switch does need to be activated to get into the close focus distance and unfortunately it's manual focus there is a hack available where yo
