[Music] hello and words welcome to let's fix computers i've got a dell inspiron 15 5000 series here with a broken hinge and this one is a cautionary tale of why you must get this sorted before it gets this bad um so the hinge on this one has broken clean out of the laptop and it's ripped out the wi-fi antennas so this is a classic case of if the customer had gotten this dealt with when it first started becoming a problem then it would have been a straightforward job now we also have to completely strip down the display assembly to replace the wi-fi antennas as well so uh made the job twice as hard by not getting it done as soon as it started becoming an issue it only gets worse this problem it only gets worse so um uh we're going to strip this down i have got um i've got some new wi-fi antennas which look like they fit somewhere in the um the display hinge or something so those should b
