[Music] it's Lawren at radio world i want to talk to you guys today about rigging up your boat with hummingbird electronics hi there's a few accessories I want to go over that you may need depending on the type of install you're doing and just want to go over just some basics on how to do it so for basic networking two units together what you're going to need is an Ethernet cable and then two Ethernet adapter dongle cables this is going to take you from the round connector to the square connector that'll plug into the back of the unit any helix unit requires this adapter okay now we're still on the front of the boat one thing to consider too is if you have a trolling motor with a Universal sonar built into it like a MinnKota or possibly even a motor guide you need an adapter cable to plug into your hummingbird unit to utilize that transducer so you don't have to mount one externally now
