hey everybody this is aaron and today i'm going to review monoprice's 12 inch 99 subwoofer now as you can see this subwoofer comes with a grill i'll pop this off this grille is just mdf with black grill cloth and the monoprice label this 99 subwoofer comes with a ported enclosure port located at the bottom and i'll show a picture of it here this subwoofer's rated performance is down to about 50 hertz which puts it on par with most of the other budget subwoofers i've tested however i should notice that when we're talking about subwoofers this is more like a mid-bass module than a subwoofer same goes for all the other budget subwoofers that i've tested recently as well but it's something that's worth noting and i don't want anybody to get the wrong impression that if you buy this you're going to get down to 30 hertz response that's just not going to happen even in a room you might get a l
