so in this video i wanted to talk about how you can swap a parker style or g2 refill in place of a shaffer refill this is a shaffer ballpoint refill it uses a proprietary design that is uh it's not a terrible refill it's just that i don't keep these around i'm sure most people don't whereas parker style or g2 refills are very easy to come by and they come are sold in all sorts of great types you can see it's this one adheres to the iso standard 12757-2 whereas this is just a design that schaefer wanted to use that resembles the parker style but doesn't strictly follow it so say you have a pen like this one this is a schaefer sentinel it is a close competitor to the much more popular parker jotter i would generally recommend you just buy the jotter and forget about it but if you like your sentinel or you found one used or was given to you and you want to swap in for a different refill th
