hello we're here to talk today about how to enable NAT on Windows Server 2008 r2 in this example we have three virtual machines one workstation on a private network with an IP address of 192 168 101 a Windows 2008 r2 server performing the routing and remote access with that option with two interfaces one on the private side with an IP address of 192 168 154 and one with a public IP 65 105 10.3 in addition we have a webserver also on the internet with an IP address of 65 73 206 please note that these public IP addresses use for the purposes of this lab let's go ahead and start first we have a Windows 2008 r2 virtual machine and we also have two other machines running in the background let's go ahead and take a look at our XP client I'll start by doing an IP config to verify its IP address and just like it's depicted in the network diagram that I showed you earlier its IP address is 192 1
