This 15" model features a dual 2Ω voice coil configuration and is capable of handling 1500W RMS power. This is not some off the shelf part added to make the 95 "new and improved". The new 95 series has been under development for over two years so that this new version would live up to the name it proudly wears. MTX engineers went back to the drawing board to make the 95 Series bigger and better than the now famous 9500 version. This meant building the sub to handle more power with better materials to provide superior accuracy and cooling, while at the same time improving SPL output and sound quality from our already high standards. RUGGED PRECISION: The 95 series uses a new cast aluminum basket that delivers exceptional strength in containing the oversized magnet and subwoofer motor structure as well as reducing resonance improving overall sound quality. The new Inverted Apex Surround replaces the older style high roll surround. This new surround design increases effective surface area of the cone by using half the width of the old style surround without sacrificing any excursion. In fact the new 95 has an Xmax of 1.25". Couple that incredible excursion with increased surface diameter and the result is exponentially increased SPL output.

hey guys we're here at the MTX booth CES 2015 and MTX is showing off their 95 super woofer now you may have seen this before they did debut this woofer but they're actually now going to be shipping this woofer actually going to make this thing a reality it's a big monster 1,500 watts RMS this particular one here is a dual 4-ohm voice coil you see this thing is just a beast I don't know how much it weighs but I don't know maybe at least 50 pounds I don't know maybe I'm over exaggerating but big beast by MTX 95 on 95 super woofer worth definitely checking out and here's a little more of what this guy looks like we'll spin it around for you definitely something worth looking at check out MTX and Sonic Electronix comm I'm Alan CES 2015
