you know man has been hunting with the benefit of man's best friend for something on the order of fifteen thousand plus years and man has been hunting with the benefit of man's best friend and firearms for over 500 years now unfortunately for most of that time we haven't given a second thought to dogs hearing which you know which is an awful shame because depending upon the frequency you measure their hearing is something like four times more sensitive than ours and of course uh we as humans are well acquainted with the dangers of hearing loss and tinnitus and all of the attendant health ills that come with that like even cognitive issues later in life so you know we're careful to protect our hearing and uh you know i personally don't know anyone that go shooting without you know wearing a pair of these um but unfortunately a great many people take their dogs sport shooting target shoot
