this is a guide when replacing a screen on an Asus notebook PC model f55 5l to begin shut down the laptop and disconnect the AC power remove two plastic covers from the bottom corners of the bezel using a Philips screwdriver remove two screws holding the bezel proceed with removing the bezel start from the sides gently pulling the inner edge of the plastic once the edges on snap move around the perimeter releasing all of four sides put the bezel aside now we have access to the LCD panel remove four Phillips screws holding the LCD screen in place one screw in each corner place the LCD panel on the keyboard gently peel off the tape securing the video connector and disconnect the video cable discard the old panel take the new LCD screen and place it on the keyboard using both hands reconnect the video cable secure it with clear tape caution it is very important not to force any of the conn
