[Music] hi i'm larry puckett the dcc guy today we're going to do some more wiring this time we're going to take a look at adding a dc power bus to your dcc powered layout so let's go ahead and get started okay before we get started i want to ask you to take a second to subscribe click on the subscribe box and when that comes up click on the little bell right next to it and click all [Music] okay so why would you want to have a dc power bus in addition to your dcc power bus under your model railroad well there's some very good reasons for doing that so let's let's take a look at that first and then we'll do some wiring first of all there's a lot of dc powered accessories that are used on model railroads that you can power using a straight dc power bus and that way you don't use the dcc power and accessory decoders and all those things to uh actually provide power to those dc accessories
