today we're going to review the Netgear CM 600 cable modem let's get started okay so some neat facts about the Netgear CM 600 the Netgear CM 600 is a DOCSIS 3.0 modem which means it's about 24 times faster than the old docsis 2.0 modems that we used to have earlier in the 2000s that this one here has a capability of going up to 960 megabits per second which actually for a modem that's pretty fast that's probably way more than your cable providers giving you and that is awesome of course since it is just a general cable modem it has no router in it which means if you want to be able to route traffic you're gonna have to do that with like a router like the Netgear routers or something like that those were some really nice gaming routers they actually have there and so that we can have Wi-Fi and all that stuff since it's also general router of course it'll work or general modem it'll work
