okay when you first get your SD card you need to erase it or in other words format or initialize that all means the same thing that prepares it to be used in the camera and also to be recognized by programs on the computer so with the cameras we have this is one of them you're going to open up this door you'll see this little door here it even says SD card open so you're going to flip that up your SD card goes in with a copper side towards the battery and it goes in at an angle so and it goes in fairly easy I'm not putting any pressure on it at an angle about like that and it'll just kind of drop in that far you're going to push it the rest of the way if it catches on something don't force it it's just a spring holding it in there so you'll know if you want to get it back out you just push a little bit and it pops back out soon we follow the slots put it in there close the door listen f
