all right so i'm going to do a quick video on this hp pavilion dm3 um specific model is dm3-1002xx okay so first thing you want to do is remove the battery just slide this over when you do that this will come up you can lift it out just like that all right this has an aftermarket battery so i don't know it doesn't have any useful stuff on it just says dm3 okay so i guess if you search for it search the m3 battery i did remove a bunch of the screws already so let me see here this was a while ago i took it apart so i could do it quicker but there's one two three four five let's see if i can remember any other ones okay um there's another a sixth screw here that holds the keyboard then we gotta take these plates off okay so undo these screws and then you can lift the plates out just like that all right just like this this one had a bad charge port so we're basically just going to do that r
