what's up guys it's chad from CJ's vinyl and today I'm just going to show you how to replace the stylus for your Audio Technica LP 60 and for this demonstration I will be replacing the standard 18 3600 L alright so once we have the new stylus in hand take it out of the plastic and you'll notice that there's going to be a small plastic cover that is around the stylus to protect it for now we're going to just leave that on there and for the old stylus I like to put my fingers back here and just support the tonearm in place you're going to lightly squeeze and then in a downward motion you're going to pull and then take it out there's a small little release there that helps it to snap in place whenever you put it back in so we'll set that one aside and with the new one we can leave this plastic cover on for now because when we're putting this back on we don't want to take any chance that we
