this is an HP EliteBook folio 1040 with the broken battery and I'm going to replace it after removing the 11 t8 screws and carefully lift off the cover under here lies the battery it's a Type B lo6 XL can unplug it here and then we have one two three four five six Phillips screws you're gonna remove this as well I've got my replacement here make sure it's aligned properly with this one in the middle and now the screws can be put back in since this replacement battery doesn't have to flap here I'm gonna tear it off the old one let's take it on the new one now I just need to put the bottom panel back on and put my t8 screws back in now it should be ready for use yep fires up
