hi I'm Darren's Oakland and today we're going to tear apart a HP 9470 laptop this will be one of the frequent repairs is to replace the hard drive so the first thing you do is you take the battery loose set it to the side then we take the hard drive cover off it has two screws holding it in and these screws retain in the cover you don't have to take them all the way out once they're loose there Springs that hold them in and and they will stay there and set that to the side and then we take the hard drive out so there's four screws and they retain in the clip and there is a tab plastic tab right here you lift straight up and it pops the hard drive out there are four screws on the side that hold the hard drive into the carriers just a little flimsy plastic carrier those screws do come out comes apart like that so now we're going to reassemble the hard drive to the hard drive chassis so we
