hey everyone today I'm going to be helping my son upgrade his Lenovo ThinkPad laptop let's do it [Music] all right so this is my thick pad t44 TP I bought it on eBay for $95 a few months ago and it's been a great laptop I love the keyboard I love how quick it is and it's really built incredibly well it's very deserving that the ThinkPad name it originally came with 4 gigabytes of ddr3 RAM a 500 gigabyte mechanical hard drive and a 1600 by 900 TNS blank now today I'm going to be installing 16 gigabytes of ddr3 RAM a 120 gigabyte SSD and hopefully a much better looking 1080p IPS display so the first upgrade I'm really excited about is the new display like I said this is a full 1080p IPS display that's going to be a huge improvement on 1600 by 900 panel that came with my t4 40p so let's get started with the install of the screen so the first thing you want to do before you start doing any
