all right I am installing a dishwasher into my house and I headed by this cord this power cord to connect to the dishwasher and on the back of it it says it has three wires coming out a red black and green one so I just connect these to the red black and green one unfortunately the only one you could tell which is which is this middle one which is green it looks green right there that's green and also if you look on the court itself there's a little tiny writing that says yeah it's green conductor for the ground so that's the green one the middle ones are green so now I got fair which one is black and which one is white because it you can't tell it doesn't say anywhere is black or white but the difference is is that this one is ribbed and this one here is smooth so I took me a while to Google it figure out which one it is but the red one that is the white cord and the smooth one is the
