hi this is al from realty calm and I have the Nikon 1 J 4 with you today this is a small camera of the Nikon 1 series as you can see it's rather small in the hands it's smooth and rectangular no not many bulges there is no grip that's one of the main things you can see in the front there's just a smooth surface so holding it could be a bit slippery recommend a strap on your hand it comes with this neck strap but I'd recommend a hand a wrist strap that would be more convenient the small body means that it has not so many buttons it has a main mode selector with not so many options it has the video the custom photography for stills the automatic the best shot selector and this other one that I'll talk about shortly the on/off button the shutter button the video direct button to play menu main dial in the back and the delete and on the side I have the flash button to make it pop not in tha
