Hey, this is Scott of Photography Banzai. Today we're taking a look at the Nikon Coolpix B600. Thanks to Camera Craft in Rockford
Illinois let me try this out at their shop. I did do a video on the B500 if
you want to check that out for a comparison, but we're gonna go over to B600 today.
It has a 16 megapixel 1/2.3" sensor in there, which is very
standard for this line of camera and very similar cameras. It is a small sensor so
just keep that in mind with image quality. There's an ISO range of 125 to
6400. The highlight feature of this camera is the 60x optical zoom lens
with the VR inside. So shake reduction in the lens. It has a range of 24 to 1440
millimeter equivalent. It's definitely a nice long zoom lens and a decent amount
of wide angle on the lens itself. Aperture range of this lens is 3.3 to
6.5. So what that means is at the widest of the lens you'll get 3.3 maximum
aperture,
