hey I'm Kyle with review.com and we're here with the Nikon Coolpix p900 so the P 900 is nikons newest super zoom and it pretty much shatters all of the super zoom records with an 83 times zoom that's 24 millimeters to 2,000 millimeters so 10 years ago you would have been lucky to get a super zoom with a 10 times zoom over the past few years super zooms have really been pushing further and further to where 50 60 and now 83 times super zooms are commonplace so you keep seeing more and more zoom but no more resolutions so the further the zoom reaches the more the quality actually suffers so while you're getting 83 times zoom the quality that you're getting at that 83 times isn't really useful for most people so while the war for megapixels has kind of ended in the point-and-shoot category the war for the longest zoom is still raging even at the cost of quality so actually shooting that the
