now to set the lock to the combination you want just use any thin instrument here I'm using a Philips screwdriver you could use a pen you just push this barrel here just push it down and when you're down and it's in an open position there we go so I've set it to zero nine nine at least you'll see that this is the new open position code zero zero nine nine and let's turn it back to zero zero and it's not opening anymore you can reset it as many times as you want same procedure just push that in when it's in the neutral position so I need to put that zero at nine nine there it is and with one hand I've set it back to zero zero as the neutral position and there you have it this also comes with cable management it's a little unit here which just simply before you install it onto your laptop and most probably a dell laptop you just slide it on see if it's really neatly just slide it on well
