[Music] welcome to part two of the bozak b-302a series in the last episode we opened up this 1957 classic discovered a few surprises removed the drivers removed the crossover and tested its capacitors in this episode i'll replace the bad capacitors and cut the new ones and old ones open for comparison i'll also explain how crossovers work and test the bozak's crossover after i restore it and make some wiring changes at this point you may be wondering if i've actually listened to the speaker yeah when it was first delivered i quickly tried it with my small realistic bench amp i only played it at low volumes as i knew the capacitors were probably shot and honestly the sound wasn't that impressive let's hope that replacing the old capacitors will improve matters in addition to capacitors the crossover also has two inductors which i'll be leaving alone they test fine which i expected as ind
