today I'm going to check out something that I saw in Guitar Center from pro-line their mini boombox mic stands now it says here on the box that it's perfect for amp and bass drum miking and basically they are selling this under the idea that it's useful for recording putting your microphone in front of an amplifier oh and by the way part of this particular video is also another test I mean a loud room I have a quiet room I have the whisper room but I'm doing this on a table for a reason and I'm in a room with ambient sounds and I'm recording directly from a zoom h4n right here so I'm just going directly from the zoom through the headphone jack into a canon eos 70d I'm using an attenuator cable and I've got the volume at a relatively low level with the built-in camera attenuator off so I got that out of the way alright so here's here's the thing so this is Guitar Center the pro line mini
