you hi I'm Kelly with blue water photo and today we're going to go over housing care and oring maintenance I've got a couple different housings and strobes here to show you different things first let's start with general housing care for your underwater housing all the housings care is pretty much the same you want to make sure that after each dive you try and rinse it in fresh water if you're doing Beach dives and you don't have fresh water available try and rinse it as soon as you can keep it covered possibly so that it doesn't all dry and the salt crystallizes on the housing if you're on a boat trip and you can rinse it put it in the rinse bucket however we don't recommend leaving it in the rinse bucket for a long time as many floods happen in the rinse bucket when other camera gear gets put on top of yours where people are jumbling and moving things and accidentally bump or hit your
