The 20MP A55BI200U3 is part of our back-illuminated CMOS camera series. Back-illuminated CMOS sensors provide higher quantum-efficiency by moving the photo-diode layer in front of the electronic components, increasing photon-absorption. This translates to less image-noise and dark-current while maintaining high speeds.The 1" format sensor provides a large field-of-view with improved light-gathering efficiency. With a large 1-inch sensor, this camera is best-suited for microscopes with a direct C-mount interface. Smaller photo-ports, such as 23mm ports, will typically cause vignetting, unless used with a magnifying relay lens.

The included Windows software offers image-development and measurement tools, as well as advanced compositing features such as image-stitching and extended-depth-of-focus. With the ability to calibrate scales at multiple magnifications, the software can be used for multi-level inspection. Independent preview and capture resolutions allow you to view high-speed video while simultaneously capturing high-definition images.
