welcome to Akio USA's how-to video series today we are going to be taking you through the basic setup for the Akio HTS 3800 home theater system out of the box the HTS 3800 system is set up for a 5.1 surround sound and comes complete with an AV receiver a remote a center speaker a front left and right speaker a surround left and right speaker as well as a subwoofer position your speaker's as follows the front left right and center speakers should all be positioned at your height and directed toward the listening area the rear surround speakers should be placed just above ear height and set to the back left and right of the listening area the subwoofer can be placed anywhere in the front of the room when connecting your speakers to the receiver the wires are color-coded to easily identify which wires to use with each corresponding speaker for ease of installation the terminals on the back
