all right so i'm going to be doing a short video on how to upgrade this dell inspiron model 17r 5737 so first what you want to do is just disconnect the battery make sure your computer's off to do that you just slide these two tabs to the sides and then there's this little part that's raised for the battery you just pull it up and it comes out like that to put it back of course you just put it back this side first and then just push it back down okay so take out the battery usually to be safe i'd recommend holding the power button for about 15 seconds just to drain any power but you usually don't have to worry about this when you're just changing the hard drive and the ram i'm just going to do it anyways just because it's good practice to do that so if you do anything else or if you drop anything on the board you won't cause any damage alright so after you do that if you want you can ta
