Orion CC8 8" f/12 Classical Cassegrain Telescope

hello I'm Canton with Orion telescopes and binoculars and this is the Orion 8-inch classical Cassegrain telescope it's an aster Graf and it's a little bit different than your average Schmitt cast grin which you're probably all used to which has a corrector plate up front a lens that looks like a flat pane of glass up front well this doesn't this is an open tube design which has several advantages so I wanted to go through the features of it and tell you all about it so first of all it's a 1/8 inch f12 so a little bit longer than your average schmidt-cassegrain which is usually f10 out of 12 it's a 2400 millimeter focal length so it's very nice for high magnification details so an excellent - graph for lunar and planetary imaging as well as some of the brighter more dense small deep sky objects so planetary nebula globular clusters especially when you combine this with one of the newer m
