Hey everyone, Today I’ll quickly tell you why it is a bad idea to buy the Panasonic 20mm f./1.7 lens for the video recording purpose. I’ll be totally honest – I’ve bought it a few days ago for my YouTube filmmaking, for like 150$ as a start to my videography journey with my new Panasonic Lumix G80. I didn’t saw many videos regarding this particular lens and haven’t done proper research, that I’ve should. It was a mistake but first of all, let me tell you that this is by no mean a bad lens. It’s very small, light and bright. From what I’ve already seen some pictures I’ve made came out looking great, with nice bokeh and a great amount of sharpness. I’ve even seen a comparison video with the newer Panasonic 25mm f1.7 and it seemed that the old 20mm was actually quite noticeably sharper. It is also more of a 35mm full-frame equivalent than the other similar lenses across the micro 4/3 lineu
