[Music] today's review is the panasonic lumix DM CFC 40 it's a 24 X optical zoom super zoom as you can see it's obviously not that portable it's not that compact and that's because we have such a giant lens with such a broad magnification range but this camera only satisfied two of our three primary digital camera criteria we'll get to that throughout this review first let's start with the design when Panasonic announced the FC 40 they said advance manual controls and that's definitely evident in the back we have a control dial we have a four-way directional pad that has exposure compensation ISO an assignable function button that lets us assign whatever feature we want self-timer we also have an auto focus auto exposure lock button there's also a quick focus button on top and a large mode dial stocked with shooting modes we get an independent video record button so we could shoot no ma
