[Music] [Applause] [Music] hi i'm sam from dp review and this is the new panasonic gx85 as the name suggests this is a smaller stripped-down version of panasonic's enthusiast oriented gx8 it loses a couple of key features it loses the tilting viewfinder it also moves to a slightly lower resolution viewfinder that's field sequential which will cause color tearing it also gets rid of weather sealing but the trade-off for that is a much smaller more compact camera at the heart of the gx85 is a four thirds type 16 megapixel sensor now unlike sensors we've seen in panasonic's in the past this one has no anti-aliasing filter which should help it produce sharper fine details the gx85 also uses panasonic's dual is system combining lens stabilization with in-body stabilization for five axis of stabilization this is the first camera also to be able to do this while recording 4k the mechanical shu
