one last thing I'm going to remove this motor pulley off of this motor because I'm going to put it on the new motor when we put it back in I'm using my snap ring pliers put it into the snap ring remove the snap ring set it aside and then this just slides off the shaft now that pulley will just slide on the other motor put the snap ring back on and then the motor is ready to put back in place your motor may or may not have a chain ring on it if you need to remove this chain ring there's two different methods they use to attach these one is to use the snap ring like on this motor others use a little metal circlet that just goes around there if you have the metal circlip you just need a small flat blade screwdriver stick it in try to stick it in behind the circlet and pry it off with the snap ring you just stick it in the the plier in the snap ring and loosen the snap ring and take it off
