Hi, my name's Austin from bobjohnson.com and today I'm going to show you how to replace the inverter board in a Panasonic Toughbook CF-19, it's a pretty common repair. The inverter board, this is what it looks like and this is also what's called a back light. You'll need to replace this when the brightness of your screen goes dark. So, it's a pretty easy repair and I'm going to show you how to do it. The first thing you always want to do, is remove your battery, so our battery is taken out. And then what we're going to do is remove the casing on the screen, and it's basically all of the screws along what you see here except for these two large ones here. Go ahead to the other side of the screen.
