Papaya Art Yellow Roses Mini Decorative Pad (DP015)

I'm going to start us off with some practice strokes to show you the basic strokes I use in building my roses it's a combination of these strokes and you add or subtract as many depending on the look of your rose as you build roses or painters as you will see how you can change up the strokes a little bit is this is going to be the stroke that I use for the back of the bowl of the rose which is like the center and it's kind of a modified upside-down you stroke now I put my paintbrush down on a surface and I kind of make a sort of scalloped stroke I don't keep the middle part tight to the center or the dark color I guess I'm not explaining that well but with a regular scalloped stroke you would be doing this and pivoting your brush and keeping that point the dark color in that area rather than spreading it across so I do this and then you come down you kind of do a couple of comma stroke
