It seems like everything uses HDMI these days from home theater equipment to your Android phone. With so many HDMI devices in use most televisions quickly run out of available HDMI input ports. This switch features a CEC (consumer electronics control) engine that allows the switch to communicate with your devices automatically power your TV on when a source device is powered up and will even switch your TV to the correct input for the connected device. This switch also supports advanced HDMI features such as full High Speed (1080p) resolution 3D video and Deep Color (up to 36-bit). Additionally it provides full support for advanced digital audio formats including DTS-HD Master Audio and Dolby TrueHD. The four input and one output HDMI ports on the back of the unit are gold plated to ensure smooth corrosion-free connections. It is powered by an included 5 VDC 2A AC adapter. The remote control allows direct selection of each input by pressing the appropriate numbered button.
