the jumbo pencil grip is a great resource for children who may be younger and they're still developing their pencil grip there are a few different accepted pencil groups now within the school systems the most typical one is the dynamic tripod grasp two fingers on top one finger at the bottom a nice big open web space this space here is very important that it is open some children who have a tight crossover graph have no open web space this limits the fingers and the hands from being able to move the pencil in order to form nice smooth writing the jumbo pencil grip allows children to open up that web space while still having that comforting feeling of the grip around their fingers using the jumbo pencil grip allows more movement through the finger muscles in order to write smoothly along a piece of paper from my diff ability Australia resources for different abilities
