Pentax K-1 Mark II, the sucessor to the Pentax K-1. The K-1 Mark II was designed to be the flagship of the Pentax K-series lineup. Keeping the key unique features PENTAX is known for, Shake Reduction II, AA Filter Simulator, AstroTracer, Pixel Shift Resolution II, Flexible Tilt LCD, Composition Adjustment , Auto Horizon Correction, Smart Function, Operation Assist Light, Red Light LCD, TAv Shutter/Aperture Priority, and some new upgrades the K-1 Mark II is the perfect camera for Nature, Landscape and Nightscape photography. The PRIME IV with 14-bit imaging processing engine coupled with our original Accelerator Unit, (a RICOH developed processing device) effectively suppresses noise and reproduces fine-details with rich colors even at high ISO levels. The Accelerator Unit was first introduced in the PENTAX K-70, followed by the KP and is now being introduced in the K-1 Mark II, marking the 3rdgeneration. We have been able to achieve the highest results from this newly designed Accelerator Unit based on our increased knowledge and experience Pentax Pixel Shift Resolution has been very well accepted with the PENTAX K-3 II, K-70, and KP. We have adopted an upgraded version of the Pixel Shift Resolution to PENTAX K-1 Mark II. The system is apart from the conventional Bayer system, which only captures single unit of color data in each pixel. right already here's the k1 review down for the real-world part of this review we headed to California to meet up with Eric and Stephanie Lowen Bach and explore la the Mojave and the Sierras even months after the release of this camera Pentax hadn't fulfilled their promise to lowness one so a very generous subscriber Bob Mayer in San Francisco bravely loaned us his brand-new camera I'm Tony Northrup and this is the Pentax K one when we're shooting landscapes Eric was using his 5d SR Chelsea was using her d810 that was the only one with the tilt screen and it made my life so much easier we all put our cameras on a tripod but I didn't have to be laying in the ground to try to look at the viewfinder to see the live view screen squarely it made such a practical difference in the photography and that kind of feature makes way more of a difference than any little minor bits of noise or resolu
