this is the asahi Pentax m 15 millimeters f/2 and it was manufactured between 1979 and 1985 which means it's a beautiful little vintage piece this one was one of the earlier versions there were two at least two versions the earlier ones like this one were very well made and the body is mainly metallic through and through whereas the newer versions feature a plastic body with some internals changed around the coating is SMC as it suggests in the name and it consists of five elements in five groups and it's well renowned for being relatively sharp and I can attest to that all the pictures I've taken with this lens as long as it were f 2.8 and above were remarkably sharp F 2 is slightly soft but F 2.8 and up were beautiful alright so the first thing I enjoyed about this lens is the profile so this is when it's focused to infinity that's when it has its lowest profile and this is when it's
