side it has the Pioneer logo is in fact a button in the front of each year bud you will also notice a small hole these are microphones for when paired to a smartphone two pair start by opening the bluetooth menu on your smartphone pull one of the earbuds out of the charging case press and hold the button down until the LED on the back of the earbud alternates red and blue then select the SEC eight T W in the bluetooth pairing menu on your smart phone once it connects turn on the other earbud by pressing and holding the button down until it turns on and it will automatically pair to reconnect after the initial pairing all you need to do is press and hold the button to turn each earbud on and they will automatically pair to your smart phone you can turn each year but on individually or at the same time it doesn't matter but both must be powered on before they will automatically reconnect
