hey guys got the old Tektronix out here TDS 210 I was wondering the other day it's a bit old you know I wonder how much the screen is dimmed over the you know the years of abuse it's got the the old-style core present no LED technology inside this thing and I thought you know they they do get dim with eight most like technology does and being an older unit there's gonna be a bit of a bit of a demean going on so I thought hey why not get some new CCFL tubes cold cathode fluorescent tubes putting you on in there and see what the difference is see if it makes it nice and bright again so what I'm gonna do I want to measure how bright this screen is with the original called cathode frozen I will show you guys how to replace it and I will measure the new value see if has come any brighter this is gonna this tutorial will be pretty much ballpark the same for any LCD that needs a new cold catho
